About this job

For one of our customers, we are looking for SCOS-2000 software developers that are eager to further develop this legacy suite of mission control systems.

Responsibilities

The typical tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Software design to implement features according to formal specifications
  • Investigating software technologies and methods for potential use – including prototyping
  • Implementing software following modern, professional software engineering standards and methods
  • Unit and component testing of the implemented software
  • User requirement analysis and software requirement specification

This is a full-time position to be located at our customers’ premises in the Greater Munich Area with the planned start date ASAP.

Profile

In addition to having a university degree in computer science or similar, the candidate shall cover as many of the below requirements as possible:

  • Hands on experience as a programmer with C++ and/ or Java
  • Very good understanding of SCOS-2000
  • Experience using UML
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system
  • Experience using automation tools like Maven
  • Experience writing documentation for code
  • Speak and write English fluently and have good communication skills overall

You will be able to conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner, able to work calmly and accurately under stress and able to work without supervision.
