About this job

Reporting into the Head of HR, the successful candidate will provide practical and effective HR advice to our people and support the delivery of the HR strategy. The post-holder will deputise for the Head of HR as required and be responsible for the full recruitment cycle strategy, growth planning, budget authorisation and direct recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with marketing to design and execute the employer brand
  • Drive and support performance management processes to achieve a high performance culture
  • Responsible for the smooth running of all on boarding
  • Responsible for all ER cases, advising and guiding both managers and employees on HR policies and procedures and managing any issues that arise
  • Ensuring that employment law knowledge is current and reflected in policies and procedures across the business
  • Responsible for creating, writing, improving and implementing company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for setting up, conducting and reviewing engagement surveys and listening groups
  • Communicate a clear, accurate understanding of HR analytics (engagement survey, absence, turnover, demographics)
  • Leading new HR initiatives as required
  • Lead on employee wellbeing initiatives

Profile

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified

Experience and knowledge

  • Previous experience in an operational HR role
  • Strong generalist experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment law
  • Experience of developing, implementing and improving recruitment and HR processes
  • Experience of creating, developing and delivering training
