SYDERAL SWISS designs and produces on-board electronic equipment for space applications, with a particular focus on competitive products for new space markets. We have participated in more than 50 successful missions, for customers such as ESA, NASA, Thales Alenia Space and Airbus. Our extensive references in space programs has made us one of the main electronic equipment suppliers in Europe for satellite payloads and platforms.

To develop our innovative products, SYDERAL SWISS has end-to-end engineering capabilities in digital and analog electronics design as well as embedded software development, and we produce our electronic equipment in our clean-room production facilities, qualified to space standards. SYDERAL SWISS also has a subsidiary in Poland, SYDERAL Polska Z.O.O., which offers electronic engineering services for space applications.

In order to reinforce our team, we are searching for a System Engineer.

Responsibilities

Your mission is to define and conduct the development of a system / product according to customer requirements.

  • Technical point of contact for customer and suppliers within the project;
  • Elaboration of requirements, their traceability and justification, understanding of review gates;
  • Define system / product architecture in collaboration with technical specialists;
  • Define subsystem specifications in collaboration with engineers;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex technical problems and define innovative solutions;
  • Follow the overall system / product development and coordinate technical activities;
  • Accountable for the development to meet customer requirements within quality and cost discussed with the project manager;
  • Close collaboration with the project manager, engineers and specialists;

Profile

  • Master degree in engineering or relevant scientific discipline;
  • Demonstrable relevant systems engineering experience in relevant industry;
  • Excellent knowledge of hardware design, software development or IC design;
  • Excellent leadership, flexible and persistent;
  • Rigorous in the relations with our clients and our suppliers;
  • Microsoft Office tools, DOORS/Reqtify, Matlab/simulink, simulation tools, Confluence/JIRA, etc;
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing; other languages, in particular French, is a plus.
