The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
A VIE position as Research Data Analyst (m/f) has arisen within CIS (Communications, Intelligence and Security) department at Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) within European Space Agency (ESA) premises in Frascati, Italy. CIS is the supplier of choice for delivery of trusted connectivity and insights for smarter decisions – anytime and anywhere – for a safer future. The activities of CIS centre around three axes: actionable intelligence, secure connectivity and cyber security.
You will work in ESA’s new Phi Lab, an open European research environment, to develop for Airbus CIS new applications. This 12 month’s duration contract will start on July 1st, 2019 at the earliest.
The focus will be on using innovative data analysis approaches like deep learning and applying it on Airbus and/or ESA/Copernicus data.
This role could involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
