We are recruiting a System Operations Engineer to join our team based in CNES, in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance in operational condition of satellite control center
• Implementation and monitoring of operations
• Support to tests
• Support to the management of the IT infrastructure, IT safety and security activities
• Technical management of the control centre software technical management

Profile

• BSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in Operations
• Good system knowledge of main functional elements of a ground system used for the monitoring and control of a satellite
• Good knowledge in Linux Operating Systems (e.g. RedHat)
• Ability to work in a team and share/acquire knowledge
• Proactive problem solving attitude
• Fluent in French
• Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats
• Knowledge of remote sensing algorithms
• Knowledge of Copernicus program
