We are recruiting a System Operations Engineer to join our team based in CNES, in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

Maintenance in operational condition of satellite control center
Implementation and monitoring of operations
Support to tests
Support to the management of the IT infrastructure, IT safety and security activities
Technical management of the control centre software technical management

Profile

BSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline
3+ years’ experience in Operations
Good system knowledge of main functional elements of a ground system used for the monitoring and control of a satellite
Good knowledge in Linux Operating Systems (e.g. RedHat)
Ability to work in a team and share/acquire knowledge
Proactive problem solving attitude
Fluent in French
Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats
Knowledge of remote sensing algorithms
Knowledge of Copernicus program
