Due to the successful renewal of our IT activities within CNES we need to implement a development team in Toulouse. One of these openings is for a Data & Intelligent Process Automation Engineer. This person will join our software engineering/development team of three, tasked to ensure the development, integration, application industrialisation, business intelligence dashboard and scripts specific to CNES CSG.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance in the specification of requirements (assistance to Project Owner) with drafting of the necessary documents (Requirement Technical Specification, ISS documents according to the evolution of requests from the ALSSI (local branch of the ISS).
  • Development and deployment of website or mobile applications.
  • Development and deployment of PLCs (as per specifications), including connectors using the CNES middleware/ESB.
  • Development and deployment of integration scripts.
  • Development and deployment of business intelligence dashboards (Splunk, Salesforce Tableau, Graphana, etc.).
  • Development and deployment of modelled workflows/processes based on the process management tools provided by CNES (Easy vista ‘My digital life’, Electronic signature, Jira or other Frameworks allowing this type of request to be implemented).
  • The automation of maintenance tasks (OME, OMA).
  • The integration and deployment of solutions developed for CNES CSG by other entities.
  • The automation of the procedures (which may come from the quality team) allowing the validation and deployment of the solutions on the various environments (testing – of load, integration, ISS acceptance -, packaging, installation or deployment scripts for the target environments: integration, pre-production, production).
  • Software configuration management.
  • Ensure maintenance of API’s and software’s developed in Third Party Application Maintenance (TPAM).
  • The production of dynamic reports and dashboards from the DevOps chain allowing decision-making (see automation of the DevOps chain) based on criteria defined by quality and safety to allow the transition to acceptance or production.
  • Its activity to be monitored (using the CNES project management tools if available, otherwise propose an activity monitoring system).

Main Tasks

  • Development and deployment of modelled workflows/processes based on the process management tools provided by CNES.

Profile

  • Degree (Computer Science or IT related).
  • Minimum 4 years within a similar position.
  • Strong experience in SQL, Power BI/DAX.
  • Experience with Git/JS.
  • Experience in ETL/ESB/BPM.
  • Ability to adopt new technologies.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • EU National.

Desirable

  • Postgresql.

  • Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
