For our client, European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), we are looking for multiple Service Facilities Engineers in multiple locations in Europe: Prague, Czech Republic and GRC, Noordwijk, NL.

The main task would be to provide engineering support to the EUSPA for European space programmes development and exploitation phase. More specifically, the support is requested to contribute to the preparation of operations and operations support of the service facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operations concept of the ground service facilities.
  • Provide technical specifications for facilities procurement (including flow down of upper level requirements.
  • Contribute and maintain service provision document , operational concepts updates.
  • Contribute to the KPIs definition of the service facilities.
  • Provide support to operations concept migration scenarios and analysis.
  • Follow-up technical matters related to the on-going contracts for service facilities infrastructure, operations and hosting services.
  • Analyse CRs/CCNs to service facilities related activities, support CCBs and contribute to project control activities (risk, schedule, etc.).
  • Contribute to the analysis of anomalies raised and participate to the relevant ARB/NRB for aspects related to service facilities.
  • Support to service facilities design/qualification dossier definition and maintenance.

Profile

  •  Master degree in Space Engineering.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • From 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in ground facilities design and development in the space industry .
  • Experience in GNSS in particular on Galileo and EGNOS is a strong asset.
  • Experience with COMSEC items and PRS information is a strong asset.
  • Experience with DOORS is a Plus.
  • Availability to go on missions.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain a EU Security Clearance.
