You will work in partnership with cutting edge start-ups, SME or Industrial Partners, or research institutes, championing R&D activities in order to deliver technology feasibility and develop underlying business cases to enable groundbreaking innovation.

We are seeking several extremely knowledgeable and confident lead technologists in the following technology domains:

• Satellite Networks (Terminal & Ground segment)
• 5G (Fifth Generation Mobile Networks)
• Machine to Machine (M2M) & Internet of things (IoT) (Terminals & platforms)
• Future Networks & Systems (Unified & Converged networks, Virtualised Architectures)

Responsibilities

• Significant technical experience and strong demonstrable knowledge in one or more core technologies, including a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities that these core technology areas bring to key vertical industry sectors.
• Track record in similar technical roles in either technical, or research and development contexts.
• Demonstrable evidence of engaging successfully with a wide range of stakeholders in the telecoms & IT sector and/or relevant areas of one or more vertical industry sectors.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent analytical and reasoning skills, readily able to multi-task with a creative and flexible attitude.
• Provide exceptional technical leadership to drive innovation, provide mentorships and guidance in the core areas of your expertise.
• University degree in a relevant technical discipline with extensive and appropriate industry experience.
