A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised, enthusiastic and passionate Logistics Assistant who is looking to progress their career within a forward thinking and dynamic company.
Reporting to the Assistant Logistics Manager, you will be supporting the Operations team with day to day activities including despatch, MRP and sales order scheduling, addressing internal/external queries and raising of works orders as required. The role will require working with various departments as well as interacting with customers and third-party agents and has strong focus on ensuring customs compliance, record keeping and problem solving, whilst ensuring a fluid workflow of daily tasks is maintained.
The ideal candidate will have logistics experience and come from a Manufacturing background. However more important is someone who has the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels, have excellent oral and written communication skills and be highly analytical with good problem-solving ability.
Experience of using an ERP system and MS Office would be beneficial.
