Responsibilities

Main task: End to end testing and verification of ESMA.

The job includes the following:

• Negotiation and coordination with satellites operators
• Negotiation and coordination with teleports.
• Calculation of link budgets and synchronizing them with satellite operators.
• Mastering the operation of SatixFy modems.
• Organizing Satcom link tests either for R&D or demos for marketing in short times in customer premises globally
• Establishing of Satcom links using standard equipment.
• Measurements of key parameters like C/N, S/N, EIRP, G/T, C/I BERs, MERs etc. under various scenarios.
• Measurement and evaluation the ESMA performance either static or under mobile conditions.
• Providing feedback to the R&D and or marketing.
• Installing and conducting tests of antennas and RF equipment

Profile

• Masters/Basic degree in Communications Engineering
• Good experience with installing, commissioning and troubleshooting various types of earth stations and ground terminals including Fixed, Satellite on the move (SOTM) and Satellite on the Pause (SOTP) systems.
• Good knowledge of standard, off the shelf satellite equipment including modems, BUCs, LNBs, SOTP and SOTM antennas.
• Good knowledge of test equipment including spectrum analyzers, power meters and noise figure meters.
• Experience with developing scripting SW such as Python to interface with test equipment and equipment under test.
